  1. Bellagio Fountains

If you have never seen the Fountains at the Bellagio Hotel this is a must-see performance during your visit to Las Vegas. The Bellagio fountains shoot jets of water into the air, in time to music, producing an incredible display. Best of all, the show is free! Performances times are as follows :

  2. Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

If you enjoy horticulture, you should set aside some time to visit the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio Hotel, and lose yourself in the beautiful displays of plants, flowers and water features. The gardens are maintained by a team of 140 expert horticulturists, who change the theme of the gardens with each season of the year. Therefore, you can go back again and again, and enjoy a different display each time.

The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are free to enter and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  3. Madame Tussauds Waxworks

For a fun afternoon in Vegas, visit the Madame Tussauds Waxworks, which has a huge array of waxwork models of all your favorite celebrities. - But don't forget to take your camera, as there are hundreds of great photo opportunities. You can get your photo taken while 'marrying' George Clooney, 'hanging out' with Cameron Diaz, or 'singing a duet' with Madonna.

Madame Tussauds is located at the front of the Venetian Hotel, on Las Vegas Strip, and is open 365 days a year, between 10am and 11:30pm (the last ticket is sold at 11pm). However, you should Check the Madame Tussauds website before planning your trip, as occasionally, the premises close earlier or are closed for private events. Tickets are currently $25 for adults, although there are discounts for senior citizens, students & children.


  4. Stratosphere Tower

If you enjoy thrills, you should take a trip to the top of the Stratosphere Tower, which stands 1,149 feet above Las Vegas Strip. At the top of the tower, is the observation deck, where you get the most incredible views of Vegas and at the very top of the tower, there are 3 thrilling rides that will cause racing hearts in even the bravest of daredevils!

Adults currently pay $13.95 to go up the Stratosphere Tower, but children, senior citizens, and guests of the Stratosphere Hotel get a discounted rate. The rides cost $12 - $13 each, although you can save money if you want to go on multiple rides.


  5. Bar at Times Square in New York-New York

For a really fun evening out in a bar with a traditional friendly atmosphere, you should visit the Bar at Times Square in New York-New York. The bar has talented duelling pianos and the crowd is encouraged to sing along to.

There is a $10 cover charge to enter the Bar at Times Square, but if you book in advance, you can reserve a seat for $15 from Sunday - Thursday or $25 on Fridays & Saturdays (this fee includes the cover charge).


  6. Eiffel Tower Experience at Paris Las Vegas

The replica Eiffel Tower at the Las Vegas Paris Hotel is 460 feet tall, and is an exact half-scale replica of the genuine Eiffel Tower in France. Tourists can take an elevator ride to the top of the tower, accompanied by an experienced guide, who will point out the sights of the city. On the 11th floor of the tower, there is an excellent gourmet restaurant, and at the top of the tower, visitors will enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the strip and spectacular views of the Bellagio Fountains, on the opposite side of the Strip.

The Eiffel Tower Experience currently costs $10-$12 for adults, although there are discounts for senior citizens and children. Be aware, however, that there are often queues.

  7. Gondolas at the Venetian

The Las Vegas Venetian Hotel is famous for its chauffered gondolas. Passengers are taken on a tour of the hotel's indoor or outdoor canals, gliding beneath balconies & bridges, and alongside the Venetian cafes while their gondalier serenades them in a traditional Venetian style.

Adults are charged $16 for a gondola ride (each gondola seat 4 passengers), or a private gondola can be booked for 2 people for $64. Tickets can only be purchased on the day of the ride.


  8. Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat

Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage Hotel is a great day out for wildlife lovers. The Secret Garden is famous for its white tigers, but it is also the habitat for some of the rarest white lions, panthers and leopards in the world. And you can be assured that the animals receive the best care, as the garden actually serves to preserve these animals from extinction.

Adjacent to the secret garden is the Dolphin Habitat. The dolphins do not participate in scheduled performances, but you can watch them interacting with their trainers. If you want a truly unforgettable experience, you can participate in the "Trainer for a Day" program, in which you shadow the dolphin's official trainers and get involved in feeding, playing with, and training the dolphins for a day.

  9. Manhattan Express (New York-New York Roller Coaster)

If you enjoy thrills, you will love the 'Manhattan Express' - the roller coaster that travels inside and outside the New York-New York Hotel. The roller coaster travels through a series of twists and turns, at speeds of up to 67 mph, taking you up 203 feet, before plunging you down by 144 feet, in a truly exhilerating ride. Your photo is taken at one of the fastest points on the ride, making a perfect souvenir of your ride.

The Manhattan Express roller coaster is open daily, from 10:30am - midnight. Individual tickets cost $14 each.



  10. Shark Reef & Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

The Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay Hotel contains over 2,000 creatures, including jellyfish, endangered green sea-turtles, rare golden crocodiles, and of course, many different types of shark.

The Shark Reef Aquarium has something for all the family. Kids love to visit the Touchpool, where they can put their hands in the water to touch the fish, and everyone will enjoy the Aqua Tunnel, where you walk beneath the tanks, while being surrounded by sharks and exotic fish.
