Tropicana Hotel PoolThe Tropicana Hotel's best feature has always been its 4.2 acres of tropical gardens, which are enhanced by refreshing lagoons, waterfalls, lush greenery, swimming pools and two heated jacuzzis. This is the perfect place to relax with a drink from the bar, or even to enjoy a game of blackjack at the swim-up blackjack game, which has a special waterproof table and a heated drop-box, to dry paper money. Those who want more privacy or luxury can rent out a cabana, where they will be provided with chilled towels, complimentary soft drinks and a fruit boat. The Tropicana pool area is open between 9am and 8pm during the peak summer months. However, this may vary over the year and the pool is closed between October and April. Nikki Beach Club
The Tropicana Hotel has recently announced a partnership with leading lifestyle entertainment group, Nikki Beach, and has announced plans to open a new 'Nikki Beach Club' in the Spring of 2011. The new Beach Club which will provide a first class pool experience with a restaurant, an outdoor cafe and bar, a private island in the center of the pool, a swim up blackjack, sand volleyball courts and an outdoor concert space. In a recent announcement of a partnership with leading lifestyle entertainment group, Nikki Beach, the Las Vegas Tropicana outlined plans to open a new 'Club Nikki' in the Spring of 2011. The club will offer the exclusive nightclub experience that has become associated with Nikki Beach, including chic lounges and a dancefloor which opens out to an outdoor beach setting.
Tropicana Hotel Rooms & SuitesThe Tropicana has recently renovated its Paradise Tower Rooms. The new rooms have a South Beach theme, with warm colors and stylish furnishings, including 42" flat-panel TV's and modern artwork. The hotel's other rooms are currently undergoing renovation and are due to be completed later this year. You should be aware that, on top of the quoted price, the rooms at the Las Vegas Tropicana are subject to an additional 'resort fee' of $7.99 per night, which covers parking, entry to the gym and the pools, unlimited local calls from the phone in your room and two drinks from the bar. Tropicana Hotel Business FacilitiesThe Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel has a large Convention Center, which offers over 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space. The center also offers general business services, such as facsimile and photocopying services, and rentals of equipment, such as cell phones and computers. A high-speed wireless Internet service is available from the Convention Center, and for those who want to relax while catching up with their e-mails, the Wi-Fi is also available by the pool and in the hotel rooms. LocationThe Las Vegas Tropicana Hotel is situated just south of the MGM Grand Hotel, and across from the Excalibur. This is in the southern part of the Strip, which is lively, with lots to see and do. However, this location is a good walk (or a short bus ride) from the main central Strip activity. |
