If you enjoy wildlife, then the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel is the hotel for you. The Hotel is famous for its white tigers - however this is just one of the many species of wild cat that is found in the Mirage Hotel's Secret Garden. The garden is also a habitat for some of the rarest white lions, panthers and leopards in the world, and actually serves to preserve these animals from extinction.

Alongside the Secret Garden is the Mirage Hotel Dolphin Habitat, which is the home of bottlenose dolphins. Although the dolphins do not participate in scheduled performances, they are actively engaged with the trainers during the day. If you want a truly unforgettable experience, you can participate in the "Trainer for a Day" program, in which you shadow the dolphin's official trainers and get involved in feeding, playing with, and training the dolphins for a day.

In the lobby of the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel, you will find the huge (53 feet long and 8 feet tall) aquarium, which contains almost 1,000 different species, including sharks, puffer fish, stingrays, eels, and many other exotic and beautiful creatures. The aquarium runs behind the front desk, so provides excellent entertainment if you have to queue to check in. Even if you have nothing to queue for, you will find that you still want to spend time in the lobby, absorbing this magnificent feature.

For those who prefer horticulture, the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel also houses the Atrium - a tropical indoor rainforest, with more than 100 different types of plant, including palm trees, bird of paradise trees, orchids and other tropical flowers. Amongst the plantlife are beautiful waterfalls and calming lagoons, which make this the perfect place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas Strip.

During the evenings, the Mirage Hotel draws in the crowds, to see its spectacular volcano, which erupts every hour during the evenings, in a striking display of flashes and flames.

The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas is home to "The Beatles Love" by Cirque du Soleil. This show combines the world's favorite rock band with the magic of Cirque du Soleil, to produce an unforgettable display of music, dance and acrobatics.

If you prefer comedy, the Mirage Hotel hosts the hilarious Terry Fator, who presents celebrity impressions and ventriloquism, all with the backing of a live band. The hotel also has a line up of guest comedians, who perform shows for a limited period only.

The Las Vegas Mirage Hotel is situated between the Treasure Island (T.I.) Hotel and Caesars Palace, and just across the Strip from the Venetian Hotel. This is an excellent location, which is within easy walking distance of the other central Strip attractions.
